Life in the Favelas

The favelas are dangerous and unstable places. Families face financial destitution, substance addictions, and difficult living conditions. They may relocate away from MORE Project services for reasons of safety, family or financial harm, sometimes without warning. As you begin your sponsorship with The MORE Project, please know that the children we serve live lives that are volatile, with many circumstances beyond our control. Your outreach of love and support means a great deal to our children and we thank you for including them in your life. The difference you make for them today can have a lifetime influence.

Should any change in the status of your child within the MORE Project occur, we will notify your family as soon as possible.
